Fall-n-leaves

So on Phoebe's real birthday we went out to enjoy the fall colors. The kids had a blast walking thru the leaves and the noise they made, not to mention getting buried in them. This is why I love fall soooo much!!

Clean bill of health!

Thanks to all my blog supporters, family, and friends. Miss Phoebe got back her thyroid labs on Monday and she is 100 percent normal!!! No thyroid meds needed, no more endocrinologist, and no more blood tests, well at least for thyroid levels.
Today she had her VCUG voiding cysto urethro gram, to check if her pee was backing up her ureters into her kidneys because of her kidney infection last month and also because we don't have much medical history on her.
They had to fill her tiny bladder twice with histopaque, and neither times did back up!!! YEAH, no antibiotics!!
She has been a real trooper this week with all her medical tests.
Tomorrow, we are going to celebrate her birthday a day early with a birthday brunch. I'll have post pictrues when I get a chance, it is a packed weekend!

Out and about!

We took a trip to Tracy, California this past week to visit John's 2nd cousin...it was more like going to see our aunt and uncle and the kiddo's grandma and grandpa. Our babies just loved them and warmed up to them very quickly, learning to say Grandma and Grandpa, (it was more like mommom and daddad)it was sooo cute! I had a wonderful break, and John did too as they apmpered us by helping taking care of the kids. It was a good thing because I got the kid's cold and it hit me hard, I'm still hacking at nite and feeling terrible. They sent us to our rooms to take naps, breaks from diapers, 2 extra bodies help so much with taking care of our axtive kiddos. They were amazing for their age, John said he hasn't see such spry flexible people at their age in his practice. They walk at the same clip we do(they walk everywhere, downtown, to the grocery store, they can pick up our heavy son with no difficulty! It was such a gift. I also got to see Yosemite for the first time, WOW!!!! Then we went to the pumpkin patch, I've never been to a pumpkin patch in 90 degree weather, it was different to say the least. Now we are back home in the beautiful fall weather, I know I'm weird, can't wait for the snow!
